Reading University 8s Tournament 22nd June

Postby mark1989 Mon Apr 01, 2013 5:54 pm

Hi everyone,

Reading university held an 8s tournament last year, which was a great success, and we're going to be hosting it again this year on June 22nd. We are mainly looking for universities to come but we're open to all comers. Prices are £80 for 1 team or £150 for 2 teams coming together, and we're holding a Men's and Women's tournament so bring both teams along for a slightly reduced price.

There will be a barbecue, and refreshments available for lunch on the day, and we'll have a shot clock set up to test how hard you're shooting.

If you get in touch with either of the email addresses provided below they can send you a booking form. Get your names down fast to make sure your team gets a spot!

Any enquiries please contact our club president Becky at KW011426@reading.ac.uk or Alice, our treasurer at alicelhibbert@gmail.com.

Thanks for reading and I hope to see you on the day.

Kent are interested, is it still Reading term time? As we might want to stay the night and go Reading SU or wherever!

Hi mate, sorry for taking so long to reply, I've been in the middle of exams. The union will be open, and there are a bunch of cheap hotels around reading so if you want to stay for the night out you're more than welcome. If you get your name down to come along to the tournament and let us know how many people want to come out we can arrange tickets for everyone.
