Croydon Lacrosse - New Ground & 3G pitch

Postby Jon_B Wed Sep 17, 2014 6:14 pm

Just to inform anyone playing us this season - Croydon have moved our home ground to:

Coldharbour Leisure Centre, Chapel Farm Road, New Eltham, London SE9 3 LX.
It's just off the A20 and next to Mottingham train station (18 mins on overground from London Bridge).

The pitch is a brand new 3G / rubber crumb and will only take trainers or molded studs.
Free parking, bar and showers on site.

Securing these excellent new facilities should mean more lacrosse and less cancellations.

The new ground details are also on our website and Semla pages.

Great news. Should help with the recruitment and retention of players too. Well done Croydon.

Good to hear. Astro is definitely the way forward - we've been playing one one for the last season (Bristol Bombers) and it's great. Fast, good footing, no silly bounces and it games very rarely called off. Best of luck with it

Hi

Your new ground is 10 mins on the train from where I live - are you still after players, looking for some games to fit in with family commitments.

Cheers
Steve
