Hey, so the the college season is about to start, and of course we're all probably getting excited about the possibility of maybe trying to watch a few games. So thought it would be sensible to start a thread where you can post up any sites to stream games or any coverage that actually makes it onto TV channels we can get...
From last year:
1. ACC streaming. -are they still doing this?
2. ESPNU. - still impossible to get in the uk?
3. NASN via Setanta. - has this now become ESPN America - and does that now mean there might be more lacrosse?
Any ideas? Seems like every year there is more + more possibilities...

saw the adverts that espn had taken over nasn and that its available on satanta and sky..!
hopefully it will be showing more lax then as it should show a lot of us college sport....
i also think espn has taken over cstv which used to stream lacrosse games
i know you can still get a number of games online...most you will either have to subscribe and pay for the game/month/year, they usually show some free but its all about finding out when. Also some colleges have their own streaming but you also have to pay for that as well
hopefully it will be showing more lax then as it should show a lot of us college sport....

It looks like Maryland vs North Carolina and Duke vs Virginia are available free at http://www.theacc.com/accselect/index.html this Friday. Should be a couple of decent games. Anyone know what the coverage is like?

ACC Select quality varies greatly depending on which ACC school is doing the production.
Duke games have been very poor this year.
ACC Tourney is being hosted by UNC whose coverage has been excelent,
reasonable commentary and action replays on goals

North Carolina 16 - 10 Maryland
Free flowing game with excellent offence by both teams, 3rd quarter was a bit sloppy but rest of game was high standard
Duke 16 - 5 Virginia
Duke put together a Full 60 minute game of very high quality up tempo lacrosse
They dominated the preciously ranked #1 team in NCAA
Ned Crotty scored 8 points (4,4) and gave a MasterClass on how to play attack (he is on the USA Squad 2010)
If you get a chance watch one or both of these games.
The standard of stick handling by Duke is the best I've seen since last years Final. They were firing the passes at each other around the perimeter, the speed of ball movement & player movement spread the UVA defence out to breaking point.
It was like watching Leeds
