Men's North of England League - Premier Division: Sheffield Steelers 8 Brooklands Hulmeians 6, Boardman and Eccles 5 Stockport 17, Cheadle 9 Mellor 17, Manchester Waconians 7 Heaton Mersey 8, Timperley 7 Wilmsow 23.


Sounds like Wacs ran Mersey close.

Anyone know about D3? SHef Uni v Ashton was postponed due to, supposely (:wink:), Ashton's pitch being unfit or some other excuse

Cheadle 'A' 11 - 9 Rochdale (I think).

Rochdale 'A' 5 - 7 Cheadle 'B' (definitely).

Cheadle 'C' 1 - 0 Leeds University (apparently as Leeds definitely didn't turn up).

Was a pretty close game. 2-2 first quarter, then we scored a few and were fairly comfortable. Couldn't find the net last half though, only scoring 1....... in the last 15 seconds at 7-7. Classic Mersey!

Just to add to that, the league table for mens div 2 needs ammending. Nottingham have lost 3 not 4, and won 6. Also stockport have lost one, against wacs.
