Wilmslow 1sts at Leeds. After arriving later than planned with motorway high jinks the visitors started slowly while Leeds pounced. It was a close game but Wilmslow ground it out. 6-14

Wilmslow A also started slowly at Brooklands ExA. Scrappy game but Wilmslow did enough for the win, 2-10.

Both sides looked rusty but a good competitive game to start the season.

As Jim13 says, Leeds started strong twice getting 2 goals ahead but the Wilsmlow attacking started to shine through. Faz did most of the damage scoring 6 goals with some clinical finishing. Dan Green also contributed to the score sheet as well as providing some great assists.

Lots of great signings for Leeds over the summer but looks like they need more time until they all start to gel together.
