Pubs? most people just get in a high carb and protein recovery drink and head straight back for an ice bath and good nights sleep. I don't know what ideas you have about the place.

The Huntsman is usually where you will find most people Friday and Saturday night. It has been ever thus for the 15 years that I have been going.

The Boaters (?) - right on the river, next to the rugby stadium, big beer garden - is also popular straight after the games on Saturday.

My first ever Bath tournament; can't believe I've never gone down to one before in fact.

What's the format? Round robin then knock out?

What are the rules on 8 a side? Just the main ones from normal rules - number of poles, pitch dimensions, offside, match length etc?

Format is if i remember right

4 random/vaguely seeded pool games then top 8 points scorers (points for win, draw and goals scored) play quarter finals etc

offside is 2D 2 A. keeper starts with the ball on GLE after a goal is scored. 3 poles max i believe

Pitches are smaller than 10s. not sure exact sizes.

Other than that think its the same as 10s

Forgive the first post, I graduated from Bath uni this year and have only just started playing lacrosse.

I just whipped this up quickly, ignore the directions as its just a mess.

Pubs and bars
Slug and Lettuce (B)
Vodka revs (Not on map but opposite slug and lettuce)
The raven (small local pub, amazing local and international drinks including 13% Belgium beer and 8% cider!) (D)
the lamb and lion (Cheap and abit rough pub but fun!) (E)
Wetherspoons (C)

clubs
Weir Lounge (toilets are decked out like an aztec jungle!) (A)
Second Bridge (Standard nightclub with underground catacombs to party in) (F)
Club XL (biggest club in Bath, cheap drinks and a sticky floor) (G)
Po na na's (Good club with middle eastern decor) (H)

There are many other pubs/ bars and clubs but these are the most notable.

If your on Bath uni campus they have two big SU's which are pretty good and cheap (not sure if they will be open yet)
The tournament is taking place right in the centre of town (Big green patch beneath weir Lounge) So you wont have far to travel from there!

Hope this is of some help, have a good time everyone!

Semis Brooklands beat Cheadle, Wilmslow lost to purely.

Brooklands won the final, congratulations to them.

Really enjoyed the tournament; great day and some cracking lacrosse.
