So I've just seen this - think crease dives will become illegal over here, in due course?

Re: Crease Dives
no, crease dives have been illegal in college/high school for sometime, and the fil/ela have chose not to adopt it and rightly so.
It doesnt make the game safer as diving is still legal, just not over the crease. And personally i think diving outside the crease has a higher chance of injury as there are usually more players in this area.

Re: Crease Dives
I'd love to see a statistic on how many people were injured before this rule was put in place.

is that annually or a cumulative total for all time?
is it across all lax playing nations or from one study of a single nation?

Re: Crease Dives
Does a player leaving the pitch for a time penalty could as a legal player? I'm just thinking the most common 'crosse exchange' would be a long pole swapping with a short pole following the long pole being sent off. I'd of thought to be legally on the field you'd have to be able to play the ball, or something similar, though(?) so wouldn't have thought that would count as a legal exchange?
