STX Heat...

In the Blues tourney I played with the STX Heat....and it felt great!

I need a new short stick and want either that stick or something very similar to it. Also as a goalie, I would like to develope my outfield game more to add to versatility, so is it worth getting a titanium or would kryptolite/similar handles suffice? As I've only been in the game for about 8 months any advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Rian.

Titaniums are apparently absolutely bomb proof, however the titanium alloys are also pretty tough and are much much cheeper. anything in this mid range is pretty good
eg
db803 tough and really really light.
Brine Ignite/Magnum
STX Axe
Warrior Kryptolyte

all of these are i believe titanium enhanced aluminiium alloys and from what I can see represent the best cost/performance balance.
Warrior platinum alloy is cheeper than the above but appears to be pretty robust.

Cheers Tom! That really helps on the shaft side. I'll probably go for the titanium, as I don't see tech moving much in the next 5 years so probably worth investing. Now to decide on the head....

The heat is a box head isn't it? a similar one would be the Warrior penitrator

Yes it is...also quite useful on turf though. I'll look into the Penetrator. Cheers
