Re: World championships coverage
I asked BT Sport if they would be covering the games, back in November, and they said "it's too far into the future to give an outright answer..", which I found hard to believe.

Re: Fees & Facilities - SEMLA Clubs
Maybe I should get the ball rolling: I play for Nottingham Lacrosse Club. Annual fees are £60 non students/£50 student. Match fees are then £5/£4 respectively. We are currently in NEMLA Prem 2 and have one hour of training per week. We do not have someone who solely coaches – one of the University D...

So not quite the right place/thread, but wasn't sure where else to suggest it..
With the World Championship coming up should there maybe be a 2014 Worlds section on the forum?
Board Index > Playing > 2014 Worlds

Fees & Facilities - SEMLA Clubs
So I've been wondering recently what people pay to be part of their club, what they get for it and if this has an effect on how a club performs. If people don't mind sharing their info, would they be able to post up the following? I am part of <club name>, pay £y per year to be part of the club and ...

Forgive me if this is somewhere really obvious, but has the Scottish National team for the 2014 WC been picked/announced yet?

The money should be spent on the development of your team or lacrosse in general. For instance, you could buy jerseys, balls, pitch hire, or a bus and petrol to Manchester to play lacrosse, or anything similar.

Lacrosse Helmets
So I was talking to a friend of mine, who doesn't play lacrosse, about how I got involved in the gams, the general rules and rough costs involved in starting out. Cutting the story short, we ended up talking about what could or couldn't be classed as a lacrosse helmet and I wasn't sure of the answer...

Re: Tour 2013/2014
The opinion is generally the same each year: If you're bothered about playing anything to a close level of decent lacrosse, don't bother going. Having said that, I think Dublin take the lacrosse a bit more seriously - play then get hammered, but I've never been. If you want to get wasted in the sun,...

Re: Premier 3 title
Anybody know who won the title in the 2010/11 season as it isn't on the shield? Will get at added whilst adding Notts LC to it for this year.

Re: Complain to the BBC
I sent an email in a week, or so, ago and asking how the BBC decide what sports to cover. I got a reply today: Thanks for contacting the BBC with your enquiry. I understand that you wish to know more about our process when deciding what sports we cover. Decisions are made after careful consideration...

Re: Wilkinson Sword / Iroquois Cup
What happened here?
Phil
The game’s most bizarre moment came soon after as multiple penalties put five players in the box (one Stockport, four Spencer). But it was level teams when Gosnay’s sharp angled shot made it 6-1 at Half Time.

Just clocked this open letter to the FIL General Assembly on the main website. Seems incredibly harsh?

Re: Wrestling dropped from Olympics
Do people think domestic lacrosse structures are ready, and could cope, with the extra interest inclusion in the Olympic would bring? I'm not trying to be overly critical, but I'm not sure they would? As it stands, from my experience, there are a shortage of country wide coaches. The ELA seems to on...

Re: Crease Violation & Goalie Interference
So if the initial contact is with hands and they aren't far apart then the fact that some stick makes contact may not be enough for you to call a foul. Sorry, I meant what if the initial, and only, contact is with one had (bottom) which is far apart from the top hand? So you are literally just push...
