Re: Fair or not fair?

Shame about the ban, does seem a little harsh as, like you say, it was dealt with on the pitch, and I'd fully imagine you were apologetic afterwards. I actually went out of my way to approach the referee in question to apologise immediately after the final whistle and handshake. They accepted the a...

Re: Fair or not fair?

21.1 Each team shall designate a captain or co-captains, and they shall act as the representatives of their team on the field of play during the game. This was done, through the right channels on the pitch twice before the incidient. It made no difference. Just like players, referees improve with e...

Fair or not fair?

So after a lengthy "inquest" into an incident that happened in a recent premiership lacrosse match, I have been given a THREE MATCH BAN . The events were simple: I, Adam Grey/Pikey, got frustrated at the referee (who I will not name), and in a moment of anger following a push in the back, ...

Re: Re:

Believe you me, when this weekend comes Cardiff will leave everything we have out on that field, Pikey Good to know, what with the flags coming up. :P :P And for any opportunists looking for kit. I would advise avoiding Pikey's grits... because thats exactly what they are.... GRITTY! Are you sugges...

From the Cardiff point of view, and i'm sure i speak for a lot of my boys here, it really doesn't matter if we face Cambridge or Brighton on the weekend. That's not to say we aren't expecting a fight (some of the East 1 fellas are pretty handy indeed), it's simply to say that we are so hell-bent and...

WEST 1 : Harlequins are also playing Bristol Bombers on the Sunday.....clash of the top of West 1. We've lost 2 key players due to injury, and others due to previous engagements with Welsh Dev training. That means no Rhodri Stanford, Phil Pexton and "Hamish" among others....a good opportun...

I find that Stick checks don't hurt the hands a great deal. It is when I punch check that damage happens! Agreed. I tend to hurt my thumbs more when checking people then actually gettig checked! I'm pretty impressed that a lone developer/s has clearly come up with this in there spare time. I completely agree that it looks like sensible soccer, or soccer 95....but if it plays half as well as either you can expect to be heckling your mates, or curled up on the floor in floods of laughter in n...

Man up. Every now and then one of us weekly players will receive a bruised finger. Once in a very blue moon someone will break one. Gloves tend to be much of a muchness, and apart from a sting that lasts a few hours they tend to take out most of the venom from the blow. Still, since your asking........

Needless to say, Quins are looking rather strong. I've been at the harsh end of a "losing players" phase with Swansea before, and it (as was proved there) can all but ruin a team. It's hard to recover from, particularly in a season, but not impossible - best of luck to the Cougars. Cardiff...
