Re: Tournament for Japan

Pretty sure we could get a team out from Timperley. Might even see if we could get a Highlanders team down from Scotland.

Re: North 1,2 and 3

It's in the constitution that you can download from the league republic website: http://images.leaguerepublic.com/datacms/site9353191/user/documents/NEMLA%20Constitution.pdf "When only one team is eligible for promotion, it shall change places with the bottom team in the next higher division, b...

Re: Referees

Finally, can there be other breaks from tradition by holding games on different days of the week, at different times or even modifying the season? .... can some of this be overcome by holding two games on the same pitches, back to back? This is a great idea, and one that other leagues are already u...

Re: Referee Course

Thanks for the suggestion but I suspect that Durham will not be west enough. Sorry.

What I should have asked is, are there any other clubs who have people who need to do a refereeing course and would like a course arranged in the South Manchester area?

Referee Course

We've got a few people at Timperley who are ready to go on a refereeing course. What is the demand like in the North/North West? Any other clubs have a demand for a refereeing course?

Re: Lacrosse Talk

How is the magazine put together at the moment? Can anyone contribute articles or is there an invitation process? From the thread it looks like there are plenty of potential journalaxers out there with some fresh ideas. Maybe have a competition to write a new article and publish the best?

I quite like coaching juniors on a Saturday morning and playing Seniors on a Saturday afternoon. It means everything happens in one day and keeps some sort of lacrosse-life balance (it's already pretty weighted to one side).

Re:

The major problem i see is if you only get two or three teams selecting an option. If only three teams enter a league then you can offer them the oppertunity to either, play a three team league, or re enter one of the other leagues. If there are only three teams entering then it shows the demand is...

Option 5

It seems to me that the disagreements are based on different priorities within each club. Is it possible to think up a structure that lets everyone pick what is most important to them? What I mean is offer a range of competitions and let each club enter teams into whichever they wish. Something like...

Re:

Out of interest... Why don't you do your own schedule? Don't worry about times & dates just the teams and groups and the play in games. Remember at the end of it :- - every team must have an opportunity to win the Championship - every position 1-30 must be decided on the field - every team must...

3 sets of equipment

Hi folks, I need to aquire 3 sets of lacrosse equipment. Can you help me? One of the conditions of playing for the Scotland team this year is to commit to some development activities, in particular each player is required to collect 3 sets of lacrosse equipment for the men's development programme. I...

Haha, I thought John might dominate this thread. Does anyone know how many games he actually played?

What about players from other countries? I'm guessing the Gaits and Marechek must have quite a few caps?

Most Capped players in lacrosse

I was just wondering if anyone knows who are the most Capped players in lacrosse? I've had a look at a couple of national governing body websites but their aren't too many clues. Anyone know?
