Well done Alan Boyle.

Congratulations go to Alan Boyle from Manchester WACS on his winning of the 2013 Manchester Sport's "Unsung Hero in Sport" award. As many of you will know, Alan has worked amazingly hard over the last 40odd years in support of lacrosse and for our club in particular, and this is great reco...

Re: Season 2013/14

AIUI - HMG were struggling last year with numbers and the travel. For the new season the practical solution (hopefully just short term) is to form a new team made up from HMG with additions from WACS and possibly MMU as needed and play in North 3.

Manchester WACS 8:9 Heaton Mersey

Good tight game in difficult conditions Mersey never behind but WACS fought back well from 4-7 and almost got something from the game.

Re: Congratulations ELA

Have you seen that Sport England's comments are very positive about lacrosse. Funding of £3.4 million granted when major sports like rugby are being cut. And we're not an Olympic sport so not a good year PRwise. Great effort by the ELA team! BeeZee. Yes well done ELA - represents a healthy increase...

Manchester Wacs 9 - 8 Timperley

which i'm told by the lads is the fourth (or fifth?) time in succession that Wacs have beaten Timperley 9-8 - they must be getting a little tired of that :)

Anyone know Wilmslow v wacs score? Not yet on League Republic yet for some reason but it finished.. Wilmslow 6 : 12 Manchester WACS On a difficult surface Wacs were much improved from last week with an excellent solid defensive base, quick midfield and also regained their attacking sharpness.
