Exeter 1s game was postponed, not sure why The game was abandoned after 30 minutes because the pitch cut up so badly and could not take two games (Exeter 2's played their game first). One goal area in particular was a sea of mud with crease lines obliterated. It would have been dangerous to continue.

Game spoilt by a downpour at the start which turned the pitch into a paddy field. Not a bad standard for the first game of the season and considering the conditions.

For what it's worth, in the last quarter of a close game (less than 3 goals in it) I always call out the score after each goal once I have updated my score card and before the restart face off. It can save a lot of hassle at the end of the game.
