Re: Any good sweatpants/footwear?
Or for UK based companies, Northernsoul and Uklacrosse both have lax cleats. Although a fair few players that I know (myself included) prefer US football boots for artificial surfaces and rugby boots for grass.

"search and yea shall find the answer" http://laxforums.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=18273 Just because you're an LSM doesn't make your pole any different to any D mans pole, we all want something that will last a while, will stay straight, is light, a little flexible and that we c...

Re: Need new D pole any ideas?
Words/phrases that should never be used or taken literally to describe physical objects, especially Lax shafts and heads: 'never breaks' 'indestructible' 'unbreakable' and similar. Nothing is indestructible. Wolverines skeleton is made of a fictional element/alloy (adamantium), as is Captain America...

I thought they had to have been signed off by somebody (NOCSAE?) for use in field lax....but that might just be in a certain country (Canada if memory serves)

Thank you
I'd like to say a massive thank you to everybody who helped the 2 wheelchair bound guests at bluesfest this weekend, all the southampton and reading players and anybody else who was asked to push us across grass and up hills, who carried things or came and said hello or even just offered to help. It...

Re: Tour 2013/2014
most teams won't have decided unless they're going to their habitual destinations, they'll have been too busy thinking about exams/summer to worry about it. Maybe try asking again in late September/early October when the new Uni year starts? If you really want to investigate further then from memory...

Re: Hockey Shoulder Pads
games: probably not. In the UK and I assume the rest of the world, if it isn't designed for lacrosse it's not legal to wear during games. Even if the kit is pretty similar and is often the same item just rebranded/badged. it's more to do with other players safety than your own, American football pad...

Just make sure that you and everybody else around him believes he will beat it, might not be today, might not be this week or month even but he will beat it, (lacrosse players are pretty difficult to kill). Trust me it helps.
best of luck with the fund raising!

Re: Can I use a pita pocket in the rain?
you could use it in the rain...but it'll probably shift around a fair bit so unless you really know what your doing to get it back to how you like it I wouldn't. I'd definitely keep it away from wet sand based astroturf, that screwed mine up alot.

http://laxallstars.com/traditional-thursday-new-top-string-tutorial/ an interesting trad topstring that allows the trad to be transferred from 1 head to another more easily, and a name caught my attention from the article as well.... either way it's produced by somebody related to this site: http://...
Re: Butt Ends
send Uklax or snooplax a message on here. Or UKLacrosse / Northern soul on FB. Failing that I'm pretty sure they will both be at bluesfest next weekend so pop over to their stalls and ask, neither Keith nor Jay bite ...well Jay might, depending on how hard you hit him to try and get the ball....

Re: Referees micro managing the game
If refs blew up or flagged every minor infraction of the rules then the game becomes very clunky to play or watch. for the sake of making (the play of) the game flow and not getting on the players nerves most refs will let little things slide (99% of the time rightly). but they will seek to make the...

google suggests I might be in a very small number of people, I shall investigate further. You only need 5 for a box team right, meaning 10 for 2 full teams?
