Well, a dissapointing day for swansea.
19-2 in favour of Oxford.
The lads played a brilliant game.
We had a **** 1st and 4th quarter. I think it was goal-less in the second, and the result doesn't reflect the game at all. It was great to play against such a good team, and the experience of their players really showed through. I would love to play them again later in the season.

Yeh good effort swansea, the result doesnt show the true nature of the game. Everyone gave 100% however our fitness and oxfords superior skill showed in the 3 and fourth quarters.

The Oxford guys played really well, and were great sports.

Welwyn Warriors beat Croydon 9-7. Very close game all through played in a really competitive but fair spirit. Reasonable weather made for a reasonable playing surface and a great deal of fun!

Reading Wildcats 13 Penarth 5

After a couple of demoralising last minunte defeats in our last 2 games against Bath and Blues we really stepped it up against Penarth. Dominating the face offs and showing a flair in attack that we have been lacking for the most part of this season we took the game to Penarth and they quite simply could not deal with it. Backed up by our tradmark defence it was an all round team performance, the highlight being a hat trick from one of our long pole middies.

Blues 8 Bath 10

A very close game throughout although in fairness we never looked like taking it and were missing a few guys but taking nothing away from a very organised Bath side.

This was though a marked improvement from the Penarth game, hopefully this improvement will continue.

Blues-Bath....great game throughout, with excellent sportsmanship. Nice touch with the tunnell of players too. Great to see that nowadays. Nice one.

Portsmouth 5-3 UWIC

Bit of a scrappy game, UWIC on had 9 men(+1 from portsmouth) and it showed towards the end (also due to christmas fitness levels!)

Actually it was portsmouth 4-2 UWIC.
Scored my second goal this season!!
Looks like it was a bad day for the welsh clubs. Knew oxford would beat Swansea but not by that margin

Thanks to Swansea for a good game today. Was a hard fought game with quarter scores of 6-0, 6-0, 10-0 and 19-2. Hopefully Ox can now get promoted this season to the premiership so that we can get some strong competition for next season. I'm sure that it will drive our guys to work even harder. I know a fair few of them are looking forward to the south trials fairly soon.

Good luck to the Swansea guys for the rest of the season,

I thought it was a good game, (apart from a few tantrums from essex boy - ha ha) but yeah, quite an evenly fought game, and lots of good banter

don't laugh open goals are the hardest thing to score ever. thoguht everyone knew that - you think how am i going to miss this, instead of how am i going to score this, and invariably miss
