Revo 2.0 vs. Revo pro

Postby Maas Mon Feb 11, 2008 10:12 am

Hi,

I´m looking for a new D-head and I was wondering which one is better: the Revo pro or the Revo 2.0. Is the Revo pro worth the extra money? Thanks for any advice :D

cheers

From what ive heard, the 2.0 is better as it wont pinch anywhere near as much. I tried a pro out and it was way too flexible for a D head so Im guessing that the 2.0 is a little stiffer.

The 2.0 was introduced to replace the Revolution head.
The Pro is probably a more hard core head, it's more pinched and off set than the 2.0. and it looks like there is more plastic in it.

I snapped an Evo 2 a couple of months back, but there again 2.0 is a lighter head than the Pro series!
If you'd have asked this question last week I could have let you have a Pro for slightly cheaper than the 2.0 RRP!

If you can see one of each in person thats the best way to tell which is right for you.

It's a bit unfair to say that the Pro is way too flexible as a D head...as it's not. The Pro is nothing like the Clutch, or any Gait head! I would say it's been one of the most popular D heads in the market, and also it's specifically designed for D.

the old revo pro was very flexible but the new one with the plastic wings on the side is a lot stiffer and i would reccomend it as a good d head.

Got a 2.0 it's awesome. The only difference is the flare on the sidewall and some little plastic pieces. Oh and the 2.0's a bit cheaper.

i got a pro recently and love it, its incredibly stiff, probably cos of the amount of plastic in it, so it is also quite heavy, but its definitely worth it.

I play with a revo pro and in my opinion ticks all the boxes that a d head needs to be!

the revo pro is excellent, I broke three in a 8 month period at the base of the sidewall by the neck on both sides from poking - appart from that its well balenced and good scoop

I have the 2.0 pictured above and it is great, also used a pro in D... and prefer the 2.0 hurts like hell to get poked by one of them
