Bit of a scrappy game but comfortable win for Swansea.

Well done to Portsmouth for coming down with 8 players

Welwyn 2s - 6 - Colchester - 5

Welwyn were quite comfortably in the lead untill the 3rd quarter when Colchester scored 3 or so in a row in quick succession.

Thanks for the game

Warwick 2 - 21 Cheltenham Cougars

Cheltenham Cougars A 1- 7 Aberystwyth (I think - not 100% sure)

Good win for Cougars and some valuable game time for some of the freshers for Cougars A. Thoroughly enjoyable day of lacrosse!

Croydon 3 - 19 Spencer 2's

Q1: 2 - 0
Q2: 3 - 2
Q3: 3 - 9
Q4: 3 - 19

A very interesting game - Croydon began with 10, Spencer began with 9... after an injury, it became 9 vs. 9 lacrosse... after another Spencer player showed up, it became 9 vs. 10, which was when Spencer began to get into their game, and began scoring a quick succession of goals in the 2nd half to gain a win.

Congrats to Spencer, had both teams been able to play with a full squad all game, I'm sure the result would've been a much closer one. Was a well fought game by both teams with minimal penalties.
fight, dress your wounds, then fight again...

Blues 2 8-2 Maidstone

Maidstone two goals up against a 10 man blues 2 then two blues players arrived and changed the course of the game.

Blues 3 5-14 Reading 3

Comfortable for Reading really. They look a very solid side for E3 especially in defence, Blues 3 look better than last year but lack of a regular keeper hampered them a bit even though Bernie made some outstanding saves, some very good young players on both sides and played in good spirits.

Pleasure to referee

EG 7-11 Hillcroft
Spencer 3 7-5 EG A

Spencer 3's turning out a 19 man squad compared to our 10, when are Spencer 4's starting :-) Thanks for the game chaps!

Epsom 23 Norwich 3

Reasonably comfortable game. Despite a few players missing Epsom had a reasonable game but lacked the control and a definite lack if clinical finishing. Should have been 35+ for Epsom. Still new players bedding in and more to come.

Norwich will get stronger through the season and glad they made the journey down. Shame you couldn't stay for the food and look forward to playing you away next year.

I can confirm it was Cheltenham 1 8 Aber (well according to our offence anyway!) Great game against a great team and can't wait for the home match!

Thanks to Norwich for coming down to Epsom. Good bunch of guys and the scoreline was a bit unfair on them. They kept the ball well and created some decent chances.

Bristol Bombers 2 7 Plymouth 5

Game spoilt by a downpour at the start which turned the pitch into a paddy field. Not a bad standard for the first game of the season and considering the conditions.
