Predictions 14th/ 15th April

Postby laxambition Thu Apr 12, 2012 9:25 pm

So, who's going to win what?

Saturday:

Hitchin v Quins
Welwyn v Blues
Oxford U v Maidstone

Veterans v Veterans

Best of East v Best of West

Premiership Promotion Play off: East Grinstead v Bath

Sunday:

Blues v Bristol
London v Maidstone

Blues to concede to Bristol to relegate Purley automatically and jump Bristol to 9th to meet the loser of the EG v Bath game.

;-)

Saturday:

Hitchin v Quins
Welwyn v Blues
Oxford U v Maidstone - Oxford uni conceded

Veterans v Veterans - Lacrosse will win

Best of East v Best of West - hopefully this will go ahead, still need to get a full squad for the east team, unfortunately lacking 5 players :(

Premiership Promotion Play off: East Grinstead v Bath - both teams have been undefeated, but EG's defence line with keep Bath from scoring a lot of goals, reckon it'll swing the game in their favour

Sunday:

Blues v Bristol - this is Bristols' last chance to keep themselves in the Prem, reckon they'll be more passionate, driven, and come out all guns blazing. Blues won't let them take it easily though
London v Maidstone - London conceded too, so promotion for Maidstone
fight, dress your wounds, then fight again...

Much as this would be mildly amusing...From a logistics point of view Purley is much easier to travel to than Bristol!

Can I just confirm that Referees have been arranged for Blues v Bristol today?

Yes, this is all in hand but more are always welcome if you happen to be in the area...

Final score: Blues 8 - 6 Bristol

Looks like relegation for Bristol, they gave a good performance but as ever so did Blues, Bristol did well to catch up and think with another 10 minutes they would've had a chance of scraping it
