Results Saturday 17 March

Postby Neil_EG Wed Mar 14, 2012 8:47 pm

Early one but Brighton has conceded to EG. Seems to be a problem with numbers at Brighton but I hope they come through it. Best of luck to them. It does mean we've booked the pitch so if anyone wants to come up for a session, there'll be some EG lads there from about 1pm.

Probably not the way you wanted to win the division but well done anyway.

Welwyn 3rds v. Chichester - Chichester has unfortunately conceded

We had a big roster ready and did look forward to the game.

More luck next week.

Swansea vs. Exeter (on sunday) is off. Swansea taken the points as exeter cannot get transport or players. This was rearranged for the same reason at the end of February.

Swansea vs. Bath still going ahead (saturday)

Just been told Maidstone have beaten Epsom 13 - 8. Makes the top of East 2 rather tasty, and the impending Hillcroft A v Epsom game is gonna be huge.

In other news, with EG and Buckhurst Hill among their remaining games it looks like you can stick a fork in Cambridge. This means the last two years' East 1 champions could both be relegated this season.

Unfortunatly thats the nature of the University game, high player turnover means consitiency is hard to achieve.
