Reading 2s - 19ish
Penarth - 2

Due to a variety or reasons Penarth had to travel with about 6 starting players missing and give debts to 3 new guys but take nothing away from reading they deserved the win and are my favourites in the final

Correct.
Bristol didn't turn up.

All credit to Ex though held the ball well in attack and made us play 3/4 of the game on D.
We only really came alive at 5-1 down for the last 8 minutes of the match.

Thanks for coming up and all the Best in the finals, Show 'em what the west is made of!

EG 'A' 7 - 7 Epsom

End of quarter scores

1 - 4
4 - 4
0 - 0
7 - 7

Good game, tighter than we were expecting when we saw how many you turned up with, great stuff guys. Just missed out on the winner in the dying seconds, our guy was still kicking himself in the bar. East 2 still close!

Blues 2 5 Portsmouth 13

Portsmouth a very well drilled outfit with some very good players deserved the win although we handed them a few goals at the end chasing the game. (not sure why you chase a game at 10-5 down with 3 mins to play but that is just my goalie ego speaking). Blues played a good game, and when we got it right like in the 3rd quarter (we won it 2-0) we were the match for the Portsmouth guys, but youth and teamwork won the day. They have no weak links but with James Kidd (as you may expect) and Liam O'Mahoney (just lay off the round the back finishes, you should have had two more goals) Portsmouth have a couple of fantastic players to give them a bit of spark.

Easily the best attack we have come across this year, picked up on any error in our zone quite clinically and a few goals coming from fast breaks and one or two decent outside shots.

This confirms my suspicion that the top of east 1 is not as strong as the top of West 1. I would be very surprised if Bucks pull of an upset against Bristol.

Good luck in the final Pompey we will be there to support you, whoever you are playing.

Big result for EG and with Quinns winning...Hitchin in trouble now?

Hitchin vs EG next week becomes a huge game.

Cheers! Though Colchester are a strong outfit coming in to good form, think it will be a really close final, though Reading have 2 big attackers coming back too which should help things out!

Pernarth played hard all game and never gave up! Just unfortunate that they only had ten players and reading had a reasonably experienced and hard working team out, and so the legs and extra experience took its toll.

Cheers for coming! Good luck for the rest of the season!

thats much closer than i expected! I can't wait for our game against bucks in 3 weeks time! At the risk of repeating myself on a weekly basis, I can't believe the turn around. Bristol in my opinion are the best team outside the prem, thats a big showing.

Southampton City 3 - 15 Bath
If my memory serves me correctly. Irrespective of the actual score we were thoroughly outplayed throughout, and apart from a very even opening 10 minutes never really looked capable of getting anything from the game.
Many thanks to the Bath lads for making the trip down, looking forward to the rematch in a few weeks time
