Welwyn 2s 5 - Exeter 7

Fun game to play, fortunately the weather held out after the forecasts predicted heavy rain all week. Thanks to the welwyn guys for supplying food after the game at the cricket ground.

I've heard a scoreline of EG A 10 - Maidstone 6

But I wasn't at the game, so could be wrong

i think this was the result:

Croydon 17 - 6 Reading 2s

good game to watch, strong positives for the youth of Reading to take home and good pace by Croydon.

Blues 2s 9-4 buckhurst hill

A good and feisty game. 3-3 at half time disallowed goal and 3 min penalty for an illegal stick early in the 2nd half. Good 5 man zone from the blues held out and momentum swung to the home team.

Blues 3 lost 8-5 I think to Spencer 3s

Yep think that was the score! Was a good game, maybe a little closer than the score line suggests, bit croydon played well and were good value for the win!

Encouraging game for reading with a couple of very new players getting onthe score sheet! Return game could be interesting when theyve got a few more games under their belts!! Cheers for the game and hospitality!

Soton 14-7 Quins A

Good, close fought game for the most part. We travelled with ten and only one pole but gave a good account of ourselves. Conceded a couple of scrappy goals early doors but fought back to win the second quarter. A horrific start to the third saw the game run away from us and despite legs beginning to go in the final quarter still managed to trade goals in the final quarter. Thanks to Soton for hosting!!
