Sixes

Postby Blind Zebra Tue Apr 20, 2010 2:07 pm

Sixes entrants are:

Senior
Spencer
Hitchin
Blues
Reading
Bath
Welwyn
Purley
Hilcroft

Intermediate
Swansea
Hitchin
Croydon
Blues
Reading
EG
Buckhurst Hill
Portsmouth

Minor
Spencer
Brighton
Blues
Reading
Brunel Univ.
Welwyn 2
Welwyn 3
Portsmouth
TASIS

Registration is by 11.00am. First face is at 11.30am.

The matches drawn will be available on Thursday (d.v.) to minimise the risk of the schedule being screwed up by last minute drop outs.

I could still do with a couple of refs if anyone with the basic award wants to earn £50 for a day's work and get some experiance.

If you are still looking for Refs I have a level 1 qualification. I don't have my certificate yet but I have done the required 6 games.

Here are the Sixes Fixures.

Following the withdrawal of Bath the first division is organised as a Round Robin followed by a knock out phase. This ensures the maximum nunber of games and that all teams can get to the final until the Knock out phase is reached.

The Intermediate fixtures may have to change as East Grinstead have advised that they may not be able to field a side. In this event the Intermediate will also play a Round Robin followed by a knock out phase.

We have 5 but no goalie as of yet, I'm hoping to sort something out/pinch someone else on the day! Anyone interested, a beer or two in it for you!

I will come tomorrow with my kit
predominantly offense but can stretch to midfield if my old legs don't give up
Rob, Formally of east coast, colchester, cambridge, hitchin, spencer, anyone who'll have me and let me play lax.

Just like to add my congratulations to the winners.

Also pass on my praise to the organisers who did a very good job on the day and a special mention to Alex and Ben who reffed with me in the minors and did an excellent job throughout the day as two newly qualified refs - good to have you on board. Also thanks to Steve who CBO'd for us. Hope everyone enjoyed the day in the sun.
