The U19s will face very tough competition as this is a World Championship and not Europeans
USA
Canada
Iroquois Nationals
are stacked with players who are already playing at the highest level of competition, NCAA Div I & NLL
Not to mention the Aussies who love nothing more than beating up Pommies
Good Luck to all the Players, Coaches & Management
Enjoy every minute of it and give it your best
Nobody can ask anymore of you
You will learn a lot as you go through the tournament, take it all in and use it to your advantage
safe trip and no injuries or illnesses to all concerned
Every single one of you have earned your place on this TEAM
Best of British

Best of luck to the England U-19s lads. Such a deserved honour to represent your country
IS there a full squad list as the one on the ELA web site seems to be a few light!

Japan; very expensive; other priorities.
And Japan are not going to Finland this year, for similar reasons...

Japan don't have junior lacrosse so are concentrating their efforts on Seniors
4th is an admirable achievement
A medal would be an exceptional performance
Success should be measured on playing to potential not results
You can not control how well or much your opponent has improved - Only how much you have improved
The cards are stacked against England winning a medal but that's why they play the games
