Re: BUCS 20/2/13
Birmingham 7-4 Nottingham Trent.
Probably the best game of uni lacrosse I've played: Very fairly reffed, played in good spirits and with either side in it until late in the fourth quarter. Trent are a great team and have been our rivals in the league throughout the season, so this game essentially sealed up the league winner. Apologies for missing the pint afterwards though!

Re: BUCS 20/2/13
Trent V Brum was well played and close throughout.
I felt both teams would aahve had more success if they had moved the ball with a little bit more urgency at times.
But What do i know!
Also Lufbra 1s 10 Exeter 1s 5
Lufbra just too strong for the south westerners.
Lufbra made it very difficult for exeter to keep much possession and hastled them when they did. Some great transition and GB battles from both teams
Most damage done by Dave Gill for Lufbra with dodging at pace. pin point shooting and good distribution.
Overall good team performance from Lufbra. Exeter battled until the end

Leicester 8 - 4 Northampton
That win should hopefully have sealed safety in midlands 1A for Leicester, which is great achievement in our first season in 1A.
As always Northampton were top set of lads!

Down south in the conference cup semi final Southampton Tridents beat Exeter 2s 10-9
Q1: 3-1
Q2: 7-4
Q3: 7-4
Q4: 10-9
Was a tense game but played in good spirits. Final quarter turned out to be very tense for us on the Southampton team.
All in all a good game that takes us to the final!

Correct according to the official scorecard. Thanks for keeping me warm with some quick transitions.
My highlight of the game was being questioned by an Oxford Maths Student if I could explain what I meant by parallel, I’m sure in my day they covered that at junior school? Myself and the Sheffield F/O guy had a good laugh!

That's Oxford Maths students for you - he was probably just worried whether you were referring to a Euclidean or Non-Euclidean space...

Semi-Final (South Eastern Conference Cup)
Brunel 20 - 3 Canterbury Christchurch
Quarters:
1st: 4-2
2nd: 14-2
3rd:14-2
4th: 20-3
Good physical game, but just one dominant quarter from Brunel took the game away from Canterbury.
