says there's 2 days to go! is this a secret plan to ensure England win their first ever world title - start 6 days early and claim walkovers

It confused me too - if you look at the banner at the top of the page it has been advertised as 10th-24th

Which is an interesting interpretation of opening ceremony and first game on the 15th

Don't forget there is the CommFest on this weekend 10th & 11th for junior teams plus the POP tournament on 13th & secondary schools on the 14th as part of the legacy for the North West & Greater Manchester. All free entry by the way. This was a crucial requirement of some of the funding from NWDA, Manchester CC & others in order to host these games.

The whole Tournament does start this Saturday with CommFest & the World Championships starting proper on Thursday with the Opening Ceremony & England v Iroquois in the evening. :)

That'll explain it then - hadn't heard about any of the other tournaments starting from the 10th just the Worlds and festival

Or down to poor programming!

Looks like whoever did the flash (whilst I'm on a geeky topic - why flash??? - what on earth about that count down is so dynamic that it requires it to be the largest object on that page (50Kb) - it is providing text that does jack all once the page has loaded) on it didn't contemplate what would happen when the date was reached
