STUDENTS!
Purley Lacrosse Club invites you down to our University day on Saturday 28th January. We're going to have a practice session concentrating on stick skills and defensive/offensive sets (details to follow) run by our tame LDO and a full scrimmage with mixed up teams. All to be followed by a slap up meal and some beers. All current students and new players welcome!
Our home ground is at Warlingham RFC (easily accessible from London), directions at http://www.purleylax.co.uk/directions.html. Full changing rooms & showers available.

Looking at the standard of southern lacrosse, every university team around the area should go. Maybe a team from down south will one day be able to mix it up with the northern teams/ universities.

Evening all,
A little more information about our upcoming university day.
The time has changed slightly to allow for a juniors practice beforehand. We're asking everyone to arrive at 12.00 and be ready on the field at 12.30 (changing rooms are available). The scrimmage is going to start at around 2.30pm.
Please bring two colours for the scrimmage. We're going to play in primarily purple (our home colours) vs. gold (our second colour). Obviously if black and white is all you've got, no problem - bring that.
There will be food available. There may be a small charge (no more than £2 and possibly free). If you've not told me that you're coming already, please do so!
Directions to the ground can be found at http://www.purleylax.co.uk/directions.html
But, if there are a few of you getting a train, it may be easier to go to East Croydon and take a taxi (it cost us £12 last week, not bad between 4 people). There's also loads of parking space for those who are driving.
