Best Scottish Lacrosse Team?

Not wishing to start a civil war, but which is the best Scottish club team/who won this season? I've had a look in the Lacrosse Scotland website but can't seem to find the results page?

But last season Edinburgh City won the league, closed follwoed by Glasgow City.

Edinburgh Uni elected not to take part in the league, but I think it fair to say that they would not have beaten either of these two teams.

Wish I could tell you - but most of the Scotland games don't appear to have been taped, and the quality of the ones that were? Well, Blurry McSmudge looks decent, and has developed a read good understanding with Cannae McOutHisNumber. At least one of the goalkeepers is really good, quite possibly both, it's impossible to tell from the feed we got

Definitely Edinburgh City, however Glasgow City have made great progress in the past two years so I see a serious competition between those two and Saint Andrews this season.

Thanks for the link. Is there any info online with any more detail, like game results? Also are the university teams the same teams that play in BUCS, or are they a 1st/2nd team or even mainly university team with a few locals playing for them too?

Most of the BUCS teams are unchaged going into the Saturday fixtures, the exception being Glasgow Uni who have a couple of alumni playing.

In terms of updates I would sign up to the Lacrosse Scotland newsletter which gives a regular insight into league standings etc.

I have to disagree with you Rob, I think Edin City would wipe the floor with Edin Uni (and any team in Scotland) just now....... I may be slightly biased in saying that but I don't think we would lose to them.

Edin City have the best players in Scotland, I think that is clear to see but it is mainly based on imports (Americans, a Canadian, an Australian and a Dutchman), whereas Glasgow are by far the best at developing scottish players and have not had the number and level of imports that Edin City have had over the years to depend on.

I think the Univesities do a great job but are always restricted as by the time they get players developed to a good standard, they are graduating...... apart from those that fail/continue to tax dodge by taking another degree (you know who you are)!
