Ireland picking Irish players? Thats got to be misinformation
The Irish try-out is taking place in Dublin during June. Most likely the 13th
The team will be mainly Irish based not 100% sure what the percentage will be there is an information session coming up soon so should know full details of tryout information then.
Either way its shaping up to be a great celtic cup tournament.

Emailed. Was in the running to play in the Euros last year but I had to pull out. We'll see what happens this time!

The second trial will be at the US Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY, USA on Sunday, 13 September 2009.

Ummm saw this..... there were/are no other tryouts apart from the ones in dublin for the celtic cup. the celtic cup is in august of 2009 so i doubt they have tryouts for it a month after it

I think that the 2009 Celtic Cup team is being chosen mainly from the trial in Ireland (June).
But reading their web-site, both trials (Ireland in June, US in September) will be used in the selection process for the 2010 World Championships team.

great to see 7 of Wales u19s team from last summer's World Games making the step up to senior level. We were the only team without a single US/Canadian import and came within a whisker of qualifying from the group (missed out by 2 goals on GD) - keep up the hard work lads, its proof that Wales lax is going in the right direction.
