Re: ELA News | North Regional Officer
OK so "The North" (presumably meaning the north east and yorkshire as there is already a full time north west development officer) doesnt get a full time development officer due to uncertainties in funding...
are we not only halfway through the funding cycle? Correct me if i'm wrong but wasnt 2008-2012 the period for which the ELA got a massive increase in funding?
What's happened to the money if so much has been spent already that the cycle cant even be seen out?
[edit]...
yes obviously the tories are up to their old tricks of trying to destroy large parts of the country by again killing of public sector jobs and quangos (ie sport england) in particular....but is the ELA's position that dire? i hope not!
