Nearest club to Sevenoaks

My geography is crap, where is the nearest lacrosse club to Sevenoaks? got several current and former Durham players who live round there looking for a club
The only time he takes his foot out of his mouth, is to put the other one in!

SEMLA says these:

Results for TN13

1. Croydon 10.79 miles (17.36 km)
2. Purley 12.99 miles (20.91 km)
3. East Grinstead 14.85 miles (23.90 km)
4. Walcountian Blues 15.75 miles (25.34 km)
5. Hillcroft 17.95 miles (28.88 km)

Cue shameless plug................. East Grinstead's doors are always open :D

for some reason, i can't get the SEMLA site to open, i had tried to get to the club locator on there first. Cheers for that, I'll pass it on

Get yourselves along to EG training. On all summer on Thursdays. About 20 mins drive.

all those clubs are friendly and open to newcomers just try few sessions of each see which is the best fit its the best way

There's also the new Maidstone Club (another thread) who would welcome players with or without any experience.

If based in London - Spencer is very easy to get to 8 minutes by train from London Waterloo and 14 trains per hour.......... oooops another plug

Actually being from Sevenoaks, I suggest they might want to try Purley training in Orpington.
Or we start Sevenoaks Lacrosse Club!!!

We already have a couple of players from around sevenoaks. Why not come down over the summer and meet everyone.

you might end up being lucky with some clubs having training on different evenings - Id email about and ask if you can come to train - you might be able to get in 2 or 3 clubs a week

we (purley) train on a monday evening - PM me if you want to come along or have a look at our website ... I think im right in saying we have another 5 weeks of training sessions before the summer

Croydon is definitely your nearest and just a bus ride (or bike ride /walk for the skint / health conscious) away.
We always welcome new players and have a nice mix of different ages and experience, plus a good social crowd too.
Few of our guys live over that way so you may have a lift sorted and some drinking buddies too..

Ian, Griff plays for blues but they don't pick him for the first team :shock: so a familiar face for them if they go there never-the-less.

I'd recommend EG of course. Anyone I'd know or recognise?

my understanding is his work commitments mean he would rather play 2's as he cant train. Im not gonna argue with it :D
