Think you should all look at Cougars more seriously, Trick leaves Bath and will probably be followed by Matt Wellings, both to Cougars
A lot will depend on the University players coming in for the Bath side, and the LDO this year is a middie, which will add to the fire power no doubt.
Bristol should be strong, although there might be a little confusion on the Uni players doubling up in the same league.
I'm dropping to the seconds for this season as they will neeed a mini bus driver, noone to scare Grindle into dropping the ball into his own net
My prediction
Harlequins
Cougars
Bath
Bristol
And it could easily be any of the above.

Bristol will be fine. The uni (sharks) are using the sat team as a fresher training team(which is why they wanted to be in W2). All the people who play for the bombers will be registered to play for them only (either Bomber 1 or Bomber 2) unless they live in bristol and go elswhere for uni (as per the rules of SEMLA)
As said before i rekon it'll be close between the top 4, and will ultimately depend on who has strengthened the most since last season.

Wow, West League looks even more competetive than last year. I'd go with Quins to win it, and hope you guys would beat the East winners. But after last years close finish, who knows. As for the Uni teams, I think there will be lots of competition at the lower end of the league with a few notable surprises throughout the year (hopefully Soton Uni beating Soton city!)
I also think that the growth of the game in the last few years has been immense, long may it continue.

The final SEMLA fixture list went out to all Club contacts in mid July.
Some Clubs have already put it on their website.
The SEMLA webmaster will add it to the SEMLA site soon.
Check with the Club contact for a copy of the fixtures
If your club has not notified the SEMLA Secretary of the correct contact, please ensure that you do so urgently.
Also please make sure that the contacts on the SEMLA website are correct for the new season

ahhh ... the whit
not overly convinced with Bristol uni dropping down a div, but hey ho.
Soton Uni, warwick and exeter have decided to take the big step up and its a shame Sharks haven't decided to too.
If Bristol bombers 2 is a no go, surely sharks would have and even better squad?
Any explanations on the logic?
