My knowledge of the East teams is limited, but I'd have to agree with Ste. Swansea/Oxford in the West is the intriguing game there, think Swansea might edge it.

As for the Prem, Purley vs Spencer is the only easy one to call! I'd love to see Penarth do a job on Reading, and as the Wildcats could only get 7 goals past Happy Harrop last Saturday, there's every chance!

Obviously I have to back Bath against Blues, hope I'm right! As for the "Big 'un", my instinct says that Hampstead should be too strong, but given how they played in Bath in December (7-7 with 5 mins of the 3rd remaining), I have to go with the heart and therefore it's Hitchin all the way!

Do me proud boys

In the prem, I hope the Welsh contingent do us proud and Penarth record a win.

Hitchin vs Hampstead, the first weekend back is full of big games isn't it. I wouldn't like to call it. It could be dependant on who recovers the quickest from the break!!!

In the West, UWIC may have portsmouth but that is a real toughie. And I have never been so un sure of a result in my life about Swansea and Oxford. Of course i want an Swansea win. But I can see the game ending in a draw or with a goal in it or even an absolute thumping from one team to another. I have no idea, but i do know that both teams are gonna be pumped. Can't wait to see all results on the sunday!!!

As helpful as it would be - Hitchin A won't beat Buckhurst Hill, In fact I'd be surprised if they get within 10 goals of Bucks

goddamn i wanna play this weekend but equal parts wants the penarth game postponed so i can go watch hitchin-hampstead... that said, watching bath-reading last weekend was painful to not kit up and go on, so i'll go with...

East Croydon v WELWYN
East EGLC v Blues 2
East Hitchin A v BUCKS
East Northampton v CAMBRIDGE
East HOLLOWAY v RMAS
East UEA v Canterbury
East HERTS v London

Prem PURLEY v Spencer
Prem Reading v PENARTH - if we have Jimmy between the pipes we've got the best shot we're gonna have
Prem Blues v BATH - Blues might have a kick in the tail after our 17-1 demolition job but i think Bath will have too much for them
Prem HITCHIN v Hampstead - So close its rude, but both head & heart say its Orange

West Bath Uni v BRISTOL
West GLOS v Swindon
West SWANSEA v Oxford - by a massive scoreline please chaps & bring a certain keeper down to earth (ever hopeful...)
West Portsmouth v UWIC
It's not the size of the dog in the fight...

woah you missed the newly scheduled southampton vs Hillcroft!

I think everyone with half a brain would back us! only joking!

Hillcroft are fielding there less experienced players who don't get many opportunities, but i'm looking forward to going to another club!

We'll see which Blues team turns up on Saturday, we do really need a result and i think after the Penarth game everyone in the club is very aware of it! Should be a good game.

I think Oxford will beat the Swans, i do hope its close though after playing the Jacks when i was in Uni (Aber) and they were good lads.

The Pens over Reading? I think it just might happen!

Hitchin v Hampstead, think Hitchin may take it, especially after losing to Purley on the last day of the season but i'm sure it'll go to the wire.

It would be just plain wrong of me to go against my own team now wouldn' it.

I never said I thought they woud really be capable but I just can't bring myself to admit defeat!!

As for the support of us against Hampstead, thanks and I can only hope we open the title race right up by taking the points! The few of us that were around did get a run out last week in a friendly game against B'ham with the second team. Defo helped to run off the christmas turkey, as did Wales training the following day!

Come Saturday.....all guns blazing from the off (unlike against Purley) and we will have ourselves a REAL game!
