Flags Predictions

Postby Jetpac Fri Mar 14, 2008 1:41 pm

Minor:
Portsmouth vs Brighton - this one should be close and a great game. but i gotta go with my boys!

Intermediate Flags Final
Bath City vs Cardiff Harlequins - They may have taken the division but i think quins will take the flags.

Midlands Flags Final
Birmingham Bulls vs Loughborough University looks like they have been strong all season, should be another good game, Loughborough to edge it by 2

Senior Flags Final
Purley vs Hampstead
Bristol Bombers #4
Ex-Pompey Uni #4

My Money is on...

Portsmouth (but a tough call but I think one of Brighton's main men is still injured)
Quinns (the thurst for revenge for the league defeat and draw)
Birmingham (better odds)
Hampstead (form horses)

I don't see more than one of two goals between the teams on paper.

Minor:
Portsmouth vs Brighton - Having grown up near Southampton, I would be shot if I ever backed a skate

Intermediate Flags Final
Bath City vs Cardiff Harlequins - Will be a tough game, but I'm confident we can turn our current spell of poor form around to produce the result when it matters.

Midlands Flags Final
Birmingham Bulls vs Loughborough University - If they play as well as they moaned on here after BUSA, they'll win no probs

Senior Flags Final
Purley vs Hampstead - Purley seem to pull something special out for flags games, but hampstead seem to have won comfortably in both league games this year. I might but a cheeky on Purley with odds of 3/1 tho.
Leeds :: SLL :: South :: Cardiff Harlequins :: Cardiff Uni :: Penarth

Minor:

Portsmouth vs Brighton - taken the division in West 2 too much momentum for Brighton

Intermediate Flags Final

Bath City vs Cardiff Harlequins -Technically Quins have it but I have an inkling Bath's appetite and experience will see them through 6 -7

Midlands Flags Final

Birmingham Bulls vs Loughborough University - Birmingham all the way with this one!

Senior Flags Final

Purley vs Hampstead - close game for the final but Hampstead have the form (do Purley have the class is the questions?)

I'm always one for causing trouble -

Plenty of people predicted Portsmouth to win for some reason, but I think East 2 pretty much smashed West 2.

A pleasure Uggy, having seen you play several times this season I think you and the other Welsh boys earned it!

Now who do you think helped me get the letter and money to you?

Enjoy the take-away!
