Bath 8 - 11 Cheltenham!

Bad day at the office for Bath

Hopefully both teams can bring their A game to the Flags Final.. will be a cracker then :)

Typical! lol! Not to worry, it wouldnt have made any difference to the final league position but would have been nice to have finished on the same points!

Could be an interesting final?!

Blues Tooz took Bucks 9 -2 .

Pretty shoddy start from us. Didn't get rolling until the second half.

Good showing from the Bucks boys.

cheers to swansea for having us. Good game in windy wet conditions. Swansea had a fair share of the possession but perhaps a little less invention in the attack but as Mr stanford says worked hard in the middle.

Game also noteable for rhod receiving the most brutal head check i have ever seen. Think they must have heard that in cardiff!

Cheers for the game today guys. Disappointing second half from our point of view with it being 2-2 at half time. We have some stuff to build on though with former peripheral players stepping into the main action and one of our guys picking up a stick for the second time ever.

For the cougars
Quarter scores and scorers
Bath 1 Cougars 3 (18,12,8)
Bath 0 Cougars 3 (20,20,20)
Bath 3 Cougars 2 (12,12)
Bath 4 Cougars 3 (12,20,7)

Was a good game and Beans (Biscuits in younger skin) dominated the face for most of the game

J-Lo wrote:East Coast 10-3 Brighton

East Coast put out something approaching a team today and actually had sub, not bad considering we've played 5 matches with 9 or less :( Brighton fought hard and well but just wasn't their day against a strong east coast.

The Spencer result makes things interesting, we now need then to do us a favour last game of the season.

10-3 ehh!? That does make things interesting in East 2's..
Can confirm Northampton v Spencer 2 was a 10-8 Spencer Win.
Fairly close game with Spencer taking it in last quarter, good effort from Spencer with a lack of subs, extremely strong D too. Northampton seemed a little lack-luster, taking too much time on the ball, should have certainly capitalised on the quick breaks more. A fairly slow paced game, allowing Spencer to play to strengths and allowing some easy shots on goals, Spencer also with the obvious advantage of experience over Northampton.
Still, enjoyable game and good spirits throughout.

Just thinking because the Quins lost today does that not make Bath League Winners?

Because now Quins can only finish on same amount of points but we'd still win league because of our victory over them at start of season *cough* Thanks Grindle *cough*

looks that way to me provided you turn up to your spare game, on the other hand if you didn't turn up to the to the cardiff uni game you wouldn't be as you would only have 30 points to cardiffs 31.

Congrats!

Good game Northampton...although I feel sorry for your Man of the Match! What the hell was in that pint? I saw milk and haribo.

Cheers to the lads who reffed the game.

Unlucky Warwick...fantastic season all the same.

Yeah to confirm from the bristol end:

Portsmouth Uni 4-4 Bristol Sharks.

Really wasn't feeling it on the 2.5 hour drive down but in the end it was a v enjoyable game! would've been great to have a game with both our full strength BUSA sides but obv with ur injuries and many of our squad playing 4 bombers it wasn't gonna happen!

Quite a scrappy physical game, but all in good spirit & I thought ur ref did amazingly well (one of the best all season i reckon-really let the game flow!). Had much fun marking you number 40, you tired the s**t out of me! Anyways a most enjoyable way to end a three year stint for the sharks for half of our team, many happy memories!

Congrats to the Portsmouth lads on the league & good luck in West 1!
