It helps that we have a guy who takes photos for us, but other than that, local rags are always looking for stuff to pad out their papers. If you write it....they will print it......more or less anyways. Now we're a steady fixture in the locals....next step the nationals lol!! But before that, check out the next Lacrosse Talk :D

EG, glad to see we're not the only club making it into the local press, both Hitchin teams have been making it into their local rag all season, all good for promoting lacrosse in the south.

mr stanford, i did put your name in but the guy who edits it cut quite a lot out of the report but at least he included the photos!!! and rhod, if you look back at the archives on their website you'll find the other reports and i'm sure you're mentioned a few times, if you can't find them i've got the paper copies

I run a media course at work which shows folk how to write a press release so that the Media (particularly locals) bite on the story.

Get into the Chronicle ever now and then, especially the Eights (Full page colour spreads). They are heavily into redeveloping the Rec for the Rugby, which, if they win will mean the Eights moving at least. So I don't get a lot of support from the paper at the moment.

Latest victory was ITV West filming the junior Pop tournament and interviewing parents/coaches/kids.

Looks like TV wil cover the Eigths again this year.
