Saw half the UEA v London game. A few of us who are members of UEA turned up in full kit at half time. You should have seen the London guys panicing, the look on their faces was priceless.
Of course we didn't play and UEA were 3-1 up. London then took and stretched out the lead to 6-3. A final quarter push saw UEA run out winners 6-5.
Secretly we would have liked UEA to lose, so we could have an away game in Norwich next season
No doubt Andy will be along to cry about the game later. Though London were unfortunate to lose.
Was a fun game to watch.

Loughborough 12 - 11 Warwick
Epic match. Warwick took early lead but after that scores were pretty much matched. 2nd Quarter Loughborough built a small lead but were closed down by Warwick in the third making it a 1 goal game. 4th Quarter Loughborough took an early lead but were again closed down by Warwick.
Defining moment came when Loughborough sacked the Warwick keeper forcing him into a bad pass behind the net which was retrieved by Tom Parker who fed Tom Lincoln to bounce the ball past the defence into an open net.
Loughborough held on to the ball well but a turnover lead to continuous pressure in the last 5 mins where Loughborough keeper Andrew Hunt shone saving shot after shot.
Great game played in the right spirit between two very evenly matched teams.

Swansea back on form by the looks of things.
Cheers to Hillcroft for a good game. Pretty even, though Hillcroft got a better start. Bath must have had over 40 shots but the keeper made some good saves and their defence seemed to get everything in the way, stickls, helmets, gloves, nads...you name it, we hit it.
Think Bath will be a bit disappointed, but sometimes that's the way things go. Sure Hillcroft would have felt the same if we had hit the net a few more of those times.

Swansea "cheated" their way to another victory winning 22-5!! Good game all round!! Mainly inexperianced Cardiff team contested the game as best they could!!! Felt very sorry for the goalkeeper who had a difficult game!!! Played in good spirits tho for a derby game and thanks to Ian for the OG!!!
Swansea Hawks D-man #5 and Celebrity Ref!!
Cambridge 7 : Oxford 6
!!!!!!!!!!
Hell yeah! Varsity winners! I am absolutely over the moon. Was a great game, we went into the lat quarter 7:4 but Oxford managed to bring it back. The last 40 seconds were the most nerve racking game time ever im my life.
I am going to get absolutely bladdered with my victorious team. Tonight is going to be carnage!

Good performance by cougars today after last weekends dissapointment. We all faught hard for the ball and played like a team. Slightly dissapointing not to win by a bigger margin as I think we deserved to, but good to be back to winning ways especially against our rivals Southampton.
Good game guys

You were lucky to win at all in the end. A great final quarter by Soton reduced the margin from 6 to 2, before Glos scored a final goal.
Soton were down by 3 key first team players, and those who did play stepped up brilliantly. First game in a long time when the team pulled together.
Well done to Glos for the win, [hide]regardless of all the late hits, hits from behind and slashing that never got called.[/hide]
I have other comments to make, but this is not the time or the place for them.

You must be joking that you deserved to win by a better margin, I'll give you that your passing/fast breaks were of a better standard than ours, but we more than matched you elsewhere, but we all know what one of the biggest factors to you winning was. But i'm not going into it either, we'll save that for later.
