disappointing for welwyn who were 5-4 at the end of the first, credit to croydon who played well to get the win.

Amazing pitch, think some of the team's boots were cleaner at the end than the start of the game!

Hitchin 'A' 11 - 4 Blues 3's

the game was late starting due to Blues getting stuck on the motorway after an accident blocked the road - hitchin agreed to wait for them and they managed to finish the game just as the daylight faded.

the game started off fairly evenly 3- 2 at half time to hitchin. hichin stepped it up a gear and ran away with the game scoring 6 unanswered goals in the 3rd with a couple more in the 4th. Blues fought hard to the end scoring two more in the 4th. the game was played in very good spirits with several funny and entertaining moments from Wiggy

once again it was a pleasure to referee this week and I would like to thank Keith for the gift.

Just to follow up on this, very good and exciting game played in good spirits. Lead changed hands a lot through the game and up to the end of the 3rd quarter the game was very in the balance. Spencer got 4 quick goals early in the fourth quarter and although we managed to rally a bit at the end, spencer had done enough for a deserved win after their strong fourth quarter showing.

Thanks to the refs for a really well controlled game. Thanks to spencer for a good game, hospitality and the pizza afterwards! Looking forward to the rematch!!
