Stand out players in East 1

Postby Hickey7 Wed May 30, 2012 12:31 pm

As the title says: Have an opinion on stand out players in your league? Your team?

Show your thoughts? Who have been the danger men all year? Who has caused your team heartache? Which defenders have battered and bruised their way through the attack?

Being realistic most of the squad is EG as they are clearly a premier league outfit. I've tried to limit eg to about 4 players to make it a bit more interesting.

GK: JP Charles (Reading)
D: Nick Milburn (Buckhurst Hill)
D: Tony Joseph (EG)
D: Dave Kelly (EG)
LSM: Nick Blackwell (EG)
M: Ryan (EG)
M: Carl Tilbury (Cambridge)
M: Chris Meritt (Bucks)
RA: Spencer 2 Chap who wears the france helmet
XA: Muz (EG)
LA: John Saunders (Reading 2)

Honourable mentions:

The Young Goalkeeper @ Blues who we played in the last game of the season
Ian Wakeford (D@Blues 2)
Crofty and Jack (M @ EG)
Benny (D @ Bucks)
Nick Flew (A: Spencer)
Young attacker at Welwyn 2 who was pretty good on both hands and really quick.
Quite a number of the reading 2 squad but i don't want to be biased!
Reading Wildcats (#13) 2010 - Present
Southampton City (#13) 2008-2010
Reading Wildcats 2007-2008
Southampton University (#13) Pre - 2007

Totally underated but best 2's pole for Blues is Doug Lee hes a beast should be 1's. Would find a home in that EG D easy

Borderline dirty from a referee point of view....but borderline usually is ok. Totally agree with Toby's assessment.

That EG defence is something to behold however....even with DK in there! ;-)

Likely to be Hugh McTurong. Don't trust my spelling though.
