Welwyn 15 Reading 13
Reading were two up going into fourth quarter, all square with 1 minute to go.

Nice way to finish our last home fixture, a good game in the sun, thanks for travelling down!
*5?
Great game, definitely shed a few tears at the final whistle.. my last season game for CCCU.
Brilliant pitch, brilliant facilities, brilliant post-game nosh. That buffet towers over the rubbish our pub has been delivering in the past few months...
P.S. Shame you guys don't celebrate a d**k of the Day. We had yours all lined up for a dirty

Why don't you have a chat with your captain and find out about any conversations we've had? If you still feel bitter about how early we conceded then I'll be happy to explain more publicly.

Epsom 19 London University 6
Wheels sort of back on the rails for Epsom - although 8 man starting London did go one up. Delayed the start as long as possible and supplied spare helmets to get the ga,e started and we were pleased to see London were up to full strength before the end of the first quarter. Good bunch of lads who took their fast break opportunities well.

Well done Welwyn Warriors
Good weekends work guys in your battle to remain in the Prem. Also well done to the 3's o0n winning East 2.
I reffed Welwyn early doors and wondered all season on how this ypoung team will get on in the Prem. It's great to see them working so hard and getting results to stay up at that level. With all that youth they could be a huge threat for the future.

Lol at all the concedes in East 3. With Marham dropping out, there just weren't enough regular games to keep people's interest.

Not just East 3, it *seems* like there were more conceded games in East 1 and 2 this year too. Several games left to play in the West divisions.... it will be interesting to see the fixture secretary's report this year and compare the figures for conceded games to last year.

Re: Results: 24/3/12
I think we've probably been the worst offenders, for various reasons that will be posted later in the week in a separate post. In short, recruitment was almost non-existent and several players didn't rejoin at the start of the season, despite having indicated that they would. Add in a number of injuries and other problems and we were often without the numbers.
I suppose ultimately it comes down to whether a few concessions are outweighed by the benefits of having more teams in the league: more games, even if not as many as we'd like!

I thought E1 was strong this year, with many teams of a similar standard.
Do the leagues need re-jigging again? Conference style with a play off?
