Heard by text: Bath 13-7 Birmingham.
Birmingham were two goals up with 7 minutes to go, but the D were exhausted. Bath had the benefit of subs and Birmingham didn't apparently.

Croydon 10 - 7 Spencer 2

Q1: 5 - 1 (Croydon lead)
Q2: 8 - 2
Q3: 9 - 4
Q4: 10 - 7

Very feisty game, challenging to referee, but still played in pretty high spirits throughout. Thanks to Spencer for coming down and making the game very enjoyable

Epsom 5 Northampton 7

Well played by Northampton - good start to Q3 won the match for them with 3 goals in about 4 mins.
Shame sees our promotion go down the pan - when we should have played better.

Welwyn 10 - 10 Hillcroft

welwyn 1 - 2 hillcroft
welwyn 3 - 4 hillcroft
welwyn 6 - 9 hillcroft
welwyn 10 - 10 hillcroft

Good hard fought game, with Hillcroft scoring first. The young Welwyn side was just one step behind for most of the game. Welwyn didn't give up and they upped their game in the last quarter, they scored four goals to take them one ahead with 3 mins on the clock.

Hillcroft fought hard to reply but the youngsters in defence held them off until the end of the game, Hillcroft fired off a succession of shots only to have them saved by a very experienced Jon Tiley. With only a few secs remaining Hillcroft took another shot, found the back of the net and equalised just before the final whistle.

This was a great game to referee and a pleasure to run around in the warm this week 8)

Correct
Bath 13 - 7 Birmingham

I believe quarter scores were
Bath 2 - 2 Birmingham
Bath 4 - 5 Birmingham
Bath 5 - 7 Birmingham
Bath 13 - 7 Birmingham

We just finally pulled our fingers out and played like a team in the final quarter. As for the subs quote.. i believe Birmingham had 4 or 5 subs so they cant complain there in my opinion
