A somewhat depleted Colchester lost 12-4 to a spirited Welwyn. Game played in good spirits with perhaps no more than 3 or 4 penalties throughout. Not having a recognised goalkeeper didn't help us (again), with more than a fair share of goals coming from a long way out.

Hitchin A 13 - 3 Chichester, this was for double points as the fixture was postponed earlier this season.

Game was played in good spirits with only a handful of penalties. Was a pleasure to referee this game.

Epsom 13-7 EG A

Epsom were the better team and although we fought back in places, we were outplayed. Hopefully we can up our game for next weeks flags game!

East1
Buckhurst Hill 11 v 6 Old Walcountians 2s
Quarter Scores
1st 4-2
2nd 4-2
3rd 2-0
4th 1-2
A good game played in superb conditions at Roding Lane. Both teams have improved significantly since the first game, but Blues' goalkeeper Liam made a series of fine saves to keep his team in contention.
Well played lads and thanks for making the journey.

Ouch...

Croydon 14 - 4 Brighton

Was a good clean game, Brighton kept it pretty close up to the 3rd quarter, Croydon just found some momentum in the 4th and kept going, scoring a quick succession of goals to secure a win. Well played to the Brighton lads who played well all game - cheers for coming!

Sh!t the bed.

Portsmouth v Brum called off. I don't know why, I believe everything was fine on our side of things. Unsure if it's going to be points or rescheduled

Purley 5 - Cardiff 4

Great game, thanks to Cardiff for coming down and giving us a real nail bitter. Purley went two ahead in the last quarter only to have a goal disallowed following a stick check (hanging strings were too long apparently). Cardiff equalised at 4-4 before Purley took the points with a interception and solo fast break by Mike Barrett with only a couple of minutes remaining. Purley finally got everything to click for 4 quarters and put in our best team performance of the season.

Southampton city 23 - 2 Warwick.

Thanks to Warwick for travelling down. Good game fought in good spirits. I think both teams will take a lot away from the game. Credit to Warwick who appeared to be missing some of their experienced players but never gave up scoring a couple of nice goals. mention for Warwicks keeper who prevented the score being much higher.
