Chelthenham Lacrosse

Postby DaveHullLax Tue Jul 07, 2009 1:15 pm

My parents have just moved here and I have returned from uni for the summer and wondered if there is any training going out?

Not at the moment - I understand the Cougars don't have a lax ground at present so unlikely to be happening soon.

Perhaps we can get together and have a throw-about?

As I've just been offered a place in Bath Uni but likely to be on placement in Cirencester for most of the year I think that makes Cheltenham my nearest club. As I'm moving there in the next few weeks where can I find details about trainings etc as your website doesn't seem to work for me.

Guys last season's website has gone, so don't try and access the Cougars via this site. I understand they are trying to get a new site up and running?

Email the club chair or secretary or if desperate Joe Perkins (only joking Joseph!) for further information about training, club venue, etc. Sadly, and rather worryingly, at present I have no idea about any of this info!

Club Chair: Alexis Newport: leck31@hotmail.com

Club Secretary: Jenny Wickham: jennywickham@hotmail.com

Joe Perkins: a_penguin_called_mike@hotmail.com

Hope this helps? The Cougars need as many players as possible, especially if you're experienced!

Good luck to all - Old Man Mark (formerly of the Cheltenham Cougars)

Training

Postby donkey Wed Aug 19, 2009 10:57 pm

Hey Guys

Training will start from September.
As a club we rely quite a lot on Uni Players so its often hard to start traing much before then, but Im sure the promise of a bbq (weather permitting) and a few beers will be enough to make a few of them travel, and failing that, the whole D Line is currently based in or around cheltenham, so at least we'll be strong at the back.

Im on a temporary number atm as my phone got stolen.
It was 07800 583409 and is currently 07912 999802, so apologies to anyone who gavce me their number and now cant get hold of me.
Give me a call or email me at a_penguin_called_mike@hotmail.com and il make sure u all get the reminders :)

Cheers
