and let's not forget his appearance as "Fireball" in the Arnold Schwarzenegger film "The Running Man"

Re: Jim Brown (Syracuse)
For Syracuse fans Jim Brown is a bit special.
Watch the film "The Express" the Ernie Davis Story, Jim Brown made the #44 Jersey in Syracuse College Football have the same status as Gary Gait made #22 in Lacrosse.
He didn't win The Heisman Trophy but he put pressure on the establishment by his level of performance that opened the door for the next Syracuse #44 to become the first African-American to win The Heisman.
He broke records at every level he competed and retired from NFL aged 29.
He played lacrosse with Coach Roy Simmons Jr and for Coach Roy Simmons Sr, he has said he preferred playing lacrosse for Coach Simmons Sr to football.
If he could he would play lacrosse six days a week and play Football (NFL) on Sunday.
There's an interview with Coach Simmons Jr where he talks about playing lacrosse for 3 years with Jim Brown

Great player - great man
