D pole and head wanted

Hey, im a new lax player looking for a D pole and suitable D head as well, just wondering if anyone had any advice on any model to go for, or if anyone has any decent kit for sale-looking in the region up to £80 but prefrebly less as im a skint student init! :D

a good cheap D head is the warrior revo. Strong and usually only around £30-£40.
have a look in the defensive tips section, there was a whole thread about what heads and shafts are good for defense.

Snoop had a Euro lax long sword on ebay at a great price. Check out ebay or snoops link from here, also cheeky will sell you hickory mines lasted me. Great for training and games. Then again you could always look at the forums sponsors see the banner at the top of the page.

Go for the Warrior PLatinum alloy pole 43 squid from uklax. strong without paying the earth!!

cheers your help, think i might go for the Warrior PLatinum alloy pole with the warrior revo head, that combo seems to be a popular suggestion and some other guys agree with you.

I have a revo-pro and its lovelly and i played for a season and a bit with a platinum alloy pole and it didn't even get scratched. good value

i think the bloodstains on my Hicory pole would suggest otherwise Raptor, ditto the amusing banana profile of my Kpro after interaction with an oxford Uni players arm last season

Don't tell anyone but unfortunately its my own blood.
during a nice innocent throw about during freshers week, designed to prove that lacrosse is lovelly and safe, a certain former captain whanged a ball at my face without me looking.
this caused quite dramatic amounts of blood to exit via my mouth
