Unless the others can show some consistency, it'll be Stockport and Mellor fighting for the top spot. Things will look much clearer once the top teams have all played against each other.

Mellor will win the league.

But, Wilmslow hope to get a nice run in the Flags this year! Fingers crossed.

Mellor

If Mellor can put a full team out in all the big games then I'll go with

Mellor

Stockport vs Mellor will be title decider

After suffering hefty defeats from them both, as already said, Stockport and Mellor are ahead of the rest. I would say that on their day, I think Mellor are a better team than Stockport. They have some real forward thinking players and play a much fresher type of game, but suffer from not always linking up as well as they could. However, Stockport are a powerful team, and seem to perform better under pressure. If I had to put money on it, I'd go with Stockport.

Mellor to win the league, with possibly Wilmslow having a sniff at breaking into the top two.

Wilmslow

Postby UKLaxfan Sat Dec 31, 2005 8:10 pm

Wilmslow have had a great first half of the season, their attack have been scoring goals for fun and are playing well as a unit.

The first midfield supporting well with Green, Reynolds & John Mountney. They have two strong face off middies as well with Craig & Parker, finishing second is a bit of a stretch though.

They have to play Mellor twice and have lost to both Mersey & Stockport by 6 goals. They had good wins v Wacs & Cheadle. Overall I think the League will finish

Mellor
Stockport
Heaton Mersey
Wilmslow
Cheadle
Manchester Waconians

Although Stockport have a habit of playing better towards the end of the season, they have got to play Mersey twice. We will find out soon enough.

7/1/06: Mellor v Stockport

21/1/06: Heaton Mersey v Stockport
21/1/06: Wilmslow v Mellor

Happy New Year
