I absolutely agree and I myself own a womens stick for this reason (its also a good laugh on the beach!)
however as I have said before the move to all womens sticks would be easy if your club alredy has a womens team but could potentially screw things over if not. At herts we have a number of guys who play mixed to try and help the girls get a womens team together, these guys play for that reason and that reason only BUT unfortunately we have found in the 3 years we have existed that if you give any of teh guys teh option of playing mens only they take it.
Requiring a womens stick would in effect kill off our mixed team at herts and potentially the prospect of a womens team too. This is obviously opinion and may not actually happen. additionally it doesn't mean they club wouldn't resurect itself from the ashes but still, is it a risk worth taking?
I open the floor to debate.... this isn't meant to be negative, but how can we work around these issues?
