Gloves

Postby chris21 Wed Dec 15, 2010 9:31 pm

Hi I am looking to get some new gloves I was thinking about getting the king's 3. I was wondering if there are any other gloves that compare to this standard I have heard maverick gloves are good but lack ventilation also the new k18 gloves are meant to be quite good. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks Chris

King 2s are amazing and as far as I'm aware there isn't a huge amount of difference between the 2s and 3s except price.

Brine Shakedowns are nice, as are Maverik Maybachs.

Maybachs have the most protection and are ridiculously comfortable, but the Kings and Shakedowns are quite a bit lighter and a bit more flexible.

I stand corrected. There appears to be no major difference in price, except King 2s have been discontinued.

To be fair Brine have priced the King III to retailers marginally higher, $5.00 or so, and their recommended selling price is also slightly higher.

I ordered KING 2's from lax.com roughly about 1 1/2 weeks ago, so unless there just running the stocks down they seem to still be selling them.

There are no King II 13" in stock at the supplier, only a limited supply of 12" in some colours. They have officially discontinued them.
