Stockport v Hampstead Sunday 13th
Wilkinson Sword Final this Sunday at Stockport,
for all those on the forum talking about elite lacrosse surely this must count as one of the games with potential.
2 pm face
It will be interesting to see how many spectators turn up apart from one man and a dog.
Get your backsides to this game if you are interested, my guess will be that there will be a lack of interest. My bet will be that there are No reports on the game plus zero press coverage
It will be interesting to see how many turn do actually turn up

Re: Stockport v Hampstead Sunday 13th
Who are the opposition? Unless they have all been playing since U12s I’m not interested. It won’t be a contest.
After last Sunday as well, there may be one or two Stockport players who aren’t that interested in getting out of bed to face supposed inferior opposition.

Well, seeing as you and Moaning Git seem to be the only people from Stockport who use the forum, we know where to come knocking when we don't get a match report of the game! Unless you are expecting an appearance from the Match Report Fairy?

the ELA comunication executive is on the stockport team your not suggesting there will be a lack of coumunication
League restructure I told you so 10/3/2011(looking good on this one)
Prem division to two leagues will result in the prem division failing and being combined with Nemla 22/3/2012
the proposed restructure to 8 teams in each prem league will only last a couple of years until it has to be restructured again due to teams dropping out. 13/12/2012

Is the Match Report Fairy like the Tooth Fairy, except it leaves a Match Report under your pillow?
I believe....

Re: Stockport v Hampstead Sunday 13th
Dear Lacrosse Community,
This Sunday afternoon at Cale Green, Stockport: Face-off 2:00pm
the Best of the North vs the Best of the South
Stockport LC are undefeated all season with a 100% Winning Record
They beat the #2 Team in the North Cheadle 15-2 in the Senior Flags Final 2012
They have the Strongest Defense in the Country...
Ben McAllister - England Goalie since 2002
Tom Williamson - England Captain
Andrew Baxter - England WC2010 (Superb for Cheshire last weekend)
Sam Patterson - England since 2006
Plus
Ryan Leonard - LSM - Futrure International
Midfield
James Morris - Face-off/SSDM/GBs/Goals (Scored 2 gaols in Final last weekend for Cheshire)
Tom Gosnay - England since 2006 (scored winning goals for England in WC2010)
Anthony Murphy - England U19s 1999 - They Beat Australia and Ant scored 3 goals back-to-back vs USA in 13-12 Loss (Fantastic Player)
Simon McGuigan -
Tom Patterson
Attack:
Stevie Howe - England Squad
Greg Rawlinson - England U19s 2008 (Crease player extraordinaire, can catch anything and get a shot off on goal - Great Stick)
If you want to learn to be a better lacrosse player, watch this game and copy what they do as they are the Best Team in The Country
vs Hampstead LC - some old City Slickers who occasionally play lax, a couple of USA exiles maybe on the team (Southern Shandy Drinkers)

They have two England 2012 members:
- Ryan (Myerberg?) - Ex-Virginia NCAA D1 LSM
- Jason Gilmartin - Ex-Bryant Faceoff specialist
I think Hampstead this year is almost 100% American. Unfortunately they don't train though.

They definitely have 1 canadian.
And the 2 mentioned above are very good players. Who knows if they will travel at full strength but even if they do I suspect Stockport will win comfortably.

I believe in the "Match Report Fairy"...
If we all Believe then maybe it will come into existence (Terry Pratchett)
I Believe*

Re: Stockport v Hampstead Sunday 13th
Why is this game scheduled for SUNDAY at 2:00pm?
How about 12:00pm or 5:00pm?
How about Saturday anytime?
There are a couple of local togga teams playing on Sunday afternoon which determine the Premiership Champions for 2012
One of them might win the title for the first time since 1968

Oops, thats a really good point.
I think Dalglish is going to be very disapointed. However, I would really appreciate seeing his match report if he's kind enough to supply one

That is a good point. Hopefully nobody has been stupid enough to schedule their son's first birthday party at this time...

Don't blame me for that one, it was all the wife's doing!
There is a bar with the football on the tv for those not wanting to join in (apparently I am expected to)

I'm never disapointed guys, It doesn't matter to me or anyone at Stockport who turns up, the opportunity is there for anyone interested, but My guess young trig would be that any match report I did supply would be deleted if the moderators didn't like the content or shall we not go there?
Re: Stockport v Hampstead Sunday 13th
Wilmslow beat Hampstead comfortably in 2008 at a neutral venue.
home advantage
Hampstead maybe travelling light?
Stockport just being way better than everyone else can only mean a big stockport win
Stockport 1st team 20 Hampstead 5
Stockport playing some younger/emerging players 15 Hampstead 10
imo

I'm confused. The only thing I've ever deleted is posts concerning a fight involving Joe singleton, at your request! Or shall i not go there?
I'm not aware of any match reports ever being deleted. In fact, we try to encourage them!
