Ah yes John Marr,
I had the pleasure of playing with John on many occasions,for longevity he has no equals,however in my top teams John would have always been number two,his stopping ability never came into question and had a heart of a lion,his only problem was clearing,for the record my No1 keeper was Dave Mitchell a guy who played for South Mcr and Wythenshawe and England in 78 and another who retired before he was 30,closely followed by Peter Condron of Cheadle and England
