So I watched the NCAA Finals last night, it was all very impressive. Glad Duke won but felt rather bad for the half man half giant that was the Notre Dame goal keeper, he was outstanding.
But what I really want to know and the reaosn for this post is... what are the "fork" things that the Duke players had on the back of thier helmets? I can't work it out? What do they mean?
Ideas on a post card... someone must know, please?

Yeah its on this photo.
And I can imagine its something to do with the Devils brand but I was more confused as to why some of the players have a helmet full of them and then their two best players Max Quinzani and Ned Crotty have two and none respectively?

The Blue Devil Logo has a devil's fork in it very similar to the decal on the helmet.
These could be similar to Ohio State decals in American Football.
They could be for achievements on the field or off the field (academic or charity/community work)
If Ned Crotty has zero it suggests it is more likely for off field activities and he is either a bit thick or a meanie when it comes to work for charity or community

Award Decals
They do this a lot for Football see Ohio State Football helmets, they are award decals/stickers and will be given to players for various things, big plays, ground balls most assists etc etc, they are forks because of the Blue Devil I guess!
HEAD, HEART HUSTLE.
Although the theories about achievements on or off the fields are probably right, I have decided I am going to live my life believing that the Duke Lacrosse Program recognises their players for their ladish behaviour and conquests!
Players on the field and definitely “PLAYERS” off the field
